Starting to FLI?

I was off to see the Giza Pyramids these past two weeks (and got to do some serious work on the side) and haven't really been active in the stock market since I got back from Cairo last weekend.

So I opened up my trading account for a breather, and I was scanning PSE stocks and for no apparent reason I just stopped at FLI and just started charting.

Is this a start of a new trend, a flag, or a consolidation? My crystal balls say half and a quarter bullish and so I posted a buy order @ 2.22.

GEO Update

After a market runup for the two days, and bouncing from the previous 2.32-2.34 support, updating the charts for GEO. Is that a flag?

Abangan! :)

Hey there

Been a while since I last posted on this blog. Since I last posted, I've changed two jobs and found a new hobby.

Trading stocks using Technical Analysis has become my new past time, and with Philippine mining currently getting some attention lately, I've been watching the darling stock of mining, GEO.

Traffic Rant

Ok, so when you got called for a job interview at 2:30 in the afternoon and you're asked if you can get there and you know their Makati building is JUST 1.5km/1 mile away and you figure you'll get there within an hour, you say: "ok, see you by 3:30"

Big mistake. Makati's friday afternoons are known for their heavy traffic but nothing would have prepared me for this afternoon. For 100 meters, I spent one hour between Magallanes and Buendia, thinking that if curses can only kill, the people at DPWH/MMDA would have been dead, no, make that buried TWICE over by now.

Two things I discovered this afternoon:

First, as much as 40% of that crucial stretch of road known as the South Super Highway are unusable right now due to road repairs, making a gridlock that reached as far away as Nichols.

Second, the MMDA, in their infinite amount of wisdom, has decided to lift the truck ban for afternoons!

And I there I thought oil prices were prohibitive.

Baller Bands Site up.

For a while now been seeing these on the wrists of every other person I see.

Since I owned bought my first baller id, these bracelets have been driving me nuts. So I created a site to gather their histories, and track news about baller bands like LiveSTRONG, and the Pink Cancer Bracelets.

Also had some short stuff on the history of baller bands.

Some things are still up in the air, like that of Nike Baller IDs but i'll update them by weekend.

Join the Army, they say. See the world, ...

... they say. But who would think the US Armed Forces will be your favorite Spa's greatest competitor?

Something to pick up a slow Sunday morning.

You know that Filipino admonition, "Huwag kang papaulan, lalagnatin ka?" (literally Don't get rained on, you'll get a fever)

Don't listen to it.  I promise (not), take it from someone who didn't and got sick.
